Agencies Announce Fourth RA/IRP Stakeholder Workshop

The Illinois Power Agency (IPA), Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC), and Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) (or “the Agencies”) will host a fourth public stakeholder workshop on July 31.

This workshop will gather stakeholder feedback to inform the Mitigation Plan and Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) processes currently underway.

ELCC and Load Forecasts Workshop

The ICC and the IPA will be hosting their fourth joint IRP and Mitigation Plan workshop on July 31st.  This fourth workshop will include a walkthrough of the final load forecasts used in the IRP modeling. It will also cover Effective Load Carrying Capabilities (ELCC), their role in the analysis, and the resource-specific ELCC values that feed into the modeling.

The Agencies will make the presentation for this workshop available ahead of the meeting. Stakeholders are encouraged to review it and come prepared with recommendations for the Agencies to consider, as well as any outstanding questions.
