The Illinois Power Agency exists to serve the people of Illinois by overseeing the electricity planning and procurement processes for residential and small commercial customers of Ameren, ComEd, and MidAmerican. It also manages the implementation of the Illinois Renewable Portfolio Standard.
The IPA's processes and mandates are described in the Illinois Power Agency Act and the Illinois Public Utilities Act. With the help of your feedback, we will continue to use best practices to meet the goals set out for the Agency.
