Illinois Power Agency Launches New Dedicated Resource Page on Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act Implementation

On May 28, the Illinois Power Agency (IPA) launched a new dedicated resource web page detailing implementation efforts related to Public Act 104-0458 (the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act or “CRGA”).

Signed into law by Governor J.B. Pritzker on January 8, CRGA is a comprehensive energy bill aimed at enhancing energy reliability, affordability, and sustainability by facilitating the development of new battery storage projects, improving energy efficiency, and introducing new long-term energy planning.

The IPA is responsible for implementing numerous elements of the CRGA Act, and this web page serves as an up-to-date hub of information to ensure stakeholders and interested parties are apprised of the latest developments related to the Agency's implementation of the Act.

This web page will be updated periodically as implementation efforts progress and additional information becomes available.

For more information, please visit the IPA’s CRGA web page.
